The Moap, Moup or Patora Squash is fond to tropical, warm weather. It is native of Asia but its use has spread worldwide. They are normally harvested during late summer or the fall months. They are shaped and resemble zucchini, with elongated body and a green color. They can be served raw into salads or cold dishes. The Moap is more commonly used and cooked for warm dishes like stews, soups. And it can also be roasted or grilled to be eaten as a side or complementary dish to grilled meats.
