Broccoli is derived from the Latin for “branch” or arm” and the Italian for “shooting
stalk.” It is a member of the cabbage family and most closely resembles cauliflower.
Asian Cut Crown Broccoli are the heads of stalks that have cut off or shortened stems. Broccoli florets are bud clusters or pieces of bud clusters closely trimmed from the head, with the remaining stalk usually being one inch or less.
